Abstract

Structural and dynamic characterization of bio-molecular complexes is the key for understanding essential biological processes and diseases. However, the complexity of these systems renders them difficult for conventional structural biology techniques. Recent progress in combining NMR spectroscopy and small-angle X-ray/neutron scattering enables structural studies of large protein complexes in solution. Here, I highlight current strategies and applications of these integrated approaches.
