Abstract

The increasing application of computer has affected the types of skills expected from new engineering graduates. This paper describes the steps undertaken to incorporate modern computer-based technologies in the curriculum of a typical industrial engineering program. The effort involved the inception of a new laboratory and the development of a sequence of three new courses.
