Abstract
Today, technology has revolutionized almost every sphere of day-to-day life. It contributes immensely by facilitating better services and providing quality lives to the users. Technology has contributed significantly to improving healthcare services, modern industry, the agriculture sector, banking and finance, education, and many other domains. Although there are many advanced technologies that are the trend of the era, artificial intelligence, machine learning, the Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics, cloud computing, 4G, and 5G are the most prominent ones that are facilitating the connectivity and availability of data to cater to the various needs of users. In this chapter, the authors have focused on the integration of IoT, big data, and cloud computing. They highlight that these technologies are not working in isolation, but their conflux plays a vital role in a variety of application domains.
