Abstract
• Biomass platform pair, ethylene glycol and levulinic acid is integrated in EHPR. • Significant intensification and high selectivity to value-added products are achieved. • Ethylene glycol shows good hydrogen evolution ability as anode hydrogen source. • 30% decrease in applied potential and 100% increase in LA hydrogenation rate.
