Abstract

IN THE NOVEMBER 1977 issue of The History Teacher an article co-authored by Richard Jensen and D'Ann Campbell described the innovative programs in community and family history sponsored by the Newberry Library in conjunction with the National Endowment for the Humanities. This is essentially a follow-up report on one of the major interests which emerged from the Newberry workshops and conferences: how concerned history instructors can insure an equitable treatment of women in their state, regional, and community-oriented courses.
