Abstract

The integration of sustainability principles into graphic and industrial design education has become increasingly imperative in response to global environmental challenges. This paper explores the incorporation of sustainable practices within design education, particularly from the perspective of fine arts pedagogy. By examining the intersection of sustainability and design education, this study identifies key strategies and methodologies to infuse sustainable principles into the curriculum. Drawing from fine arts perspectives, it delves into the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, experiential learning, and critical thinking in fostering sustainable design practices among students.
