Abstract

Universities have Occupational Health and Safety Offices where safety professionals ensure compliance with regulations through the establishment of policies, procedures, and instructions. The Duke-NUS (National University of Singapore) Graduate Medical School, has implemented an SMS for every research laboratory under a Scheme called the Laboratory Safety & Health Management System Certification Scheme.
