Abstract
A five-day workshop was held in Port Vila, Vanuatu in June 1995, the third of a series on key issues for Pacific island tourism staged by ESCAP. Held in conjunction with the Tourism Council of the South Pacific and financed by the Government of Japan, the workshop was aimed at strengthening the capacity of Pacific island countries to prepare and implement integrated tourism planning. Brian King reports on the issues that arose.
