Abstract

City officials often lack access to data and methodologies to assist them to design urban freight policies that effectively balance the needs of citizens and consumers. This paper reviewed literature on traffic data visualization and presented some typical applications of urban logistics integrated platform with their candidate tools, then put forward the route map to process big traffic data with collaborative trends, finally integrated and illustrated with real traffic data grabbed from the Beijing Municipal Commission of Transport.
