Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of integrated nursing intervention on labor pain.Methods 100 cases of primipara in our hospital were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,50 cases in each group.Control group received conventional intrapartum care and health education,experimental group received integrated nursing intervention to reduce labor pain on the basis of control group.Integrated nursing intervention included prenatal self-relaxation techniques training,intrapartum maternal self-relaxation guidance,Doula and comfort care.Results Labor pain score in experimental group:There were 20 cases of 1-3,34 cases of 4-6,6 cases of 7-10.Labor pain score of experimental group was significantly lower than that of control group (x 2=29.21,P < 0.01).In experimental group,3 cases shouted in production process,5 cases required pain medication,3 cases required caesarean section,which were significantly lower than those in control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion Effective integrated nursing intervention can reduce labor pain and improve the natural birth rate.
