Abstract
The following paper proposes an Integrated Magnetics based Dual Output AC-DC power supply topology with active Power Factor Correction, suitable for Medical equipment running on single phase AC mains. The proposed topology integrates two Converters, one Boost stage and one Flyback stage, along with active front end power factor correction, all realized using a single magnetic stage and a single control stage. The principle of operation has been explained along with the design calculations for the power circuit components.
