Abstract

In response to the wind curtailment problem with the increasing large-scale wind power integration, the integrated generation-grid-load economic dispatch method considering demand response is proposed in this paper. Through integration of the optimization of power grid structure and load side demand response into the traditional power generation economic dispatch model, the flexibility resources of generation-grid-load sides in power systems are mobilized to promote large-scale wind power integration consumption. The proposed integrated generation-grid-load economic dispatch mathematical model is transformed into a mixed integer programming model through introduction of the big M method. The analysis of practical examples indicates that the proposed integrated generation-grid-load economic dispatch considering demand response can reduce wind power curtailment and improve the economy of power system operation.
