Abstract

In order to achieve the carbon emission goal in 2030 and 2060, the research of low-carbon factors covers many fields including science and technology, transportation, ecology and politics. Because of the use of coal-fired power plants, the power system produces a lot of carbon emissions. This paper researches an integrated low carbon generation and transmission planning with multi-scenarios considering carbon emission trading. In order to deal with the uncertainties of renewable energy and load, K-means clustering based on historical data is used in the model to generate scenarios. Using the IEEE-24 system to test the model, it tends to construct wind and hydropower units with zero emission and gas units with low emission in result.
