Abstract

The relativity of the concept of the degree of development of international tourism business makes the traditional understanding of its assessment mainly sensual. The article proposes to assess the level of development of international tourist business, taking into account economic, natural, cultural, transport, recreational, socio-political and other factors, and the like. The dependence of the level of development on the crisis situation in the economy and socio-political life of the country is tracked and the main reasons for the deterioration of the level of development of the tourist business in the crisis years, beginning in 2014, are formulated.
