Abstract

We consider a Hammerstein integral equation and we prove that it has at least a solution in a suitable subset of L1[O,l] under quite general assumptions. This result has natural extensions to the case of Lp[o,1] and to the case of finite dimensional spaces. At the end, another result about existence of integrable solutions is presented, too.
