Abstract
In both the ordinary and supersymmetric O( N) non-linear sigma models in two dimensions, an infinity of conservation laws is shown to survive quantization, indicating that these theories are integrable. While this conclusion is not new, the proof given here is new. This proof is of interest for its simplicity and directness.
