Abstract

Investment and construction activities, being difficult to manage, high-risk, and subject to the influence of many opportunistic, structural, institutional, communication, economic and other factors, more than other types of activity, need to activate a cognitive approach to managing its development. In this regard, without the integration of material, natural-scientific, managerial, economic, socio-psychological knowledge, it is impossible to take into account the peculiarities of the subject area of sustainable development of construction. A large reserve of economic efficiency of investment and construction activities is the use of intangible resources that can replace the declining volume of material resources for investment and construction activities. At the same time, until recently, the main attention of scientists was directed to the study of problems of construction management as an activity that uses material resources. Ignoring the high economic potential of intangible resources does not allow to ensure access to the trajectory of sustainable growth of the industry, as well as of the enterprises that are part of it. Based on this, the article raises the issue of ensuring the effective use of intangible resources involved in investment and construction activities, clarifies the features and significance of intangible resources and considers two options for models of reproduction of intangible resources in a construction company. The conclusions obtained in the article will make it possible to develop theoretical and methodological provisions for assessing the economic efficiency of reproduction processes in construction, allowing, in new conditions, to study the features of the economic turnover of intangible resources of investment and construction activities.
