Abstract
Results are presented of comparative trials of insulation systems in traction motor armature impregnated by compounds using ultrasonic and vacuum-filling methods. The advantages of vacuum-filling impregnation are shown and the main trends in the revision of equipment and technology for the ultrasonic method are determined.
