ABSTRACT This is a commentary on a recent article published in PEQ (‘Cultural Modification Analyses on Faunal Remains in Relation to Space Use and Direct Provisioning from Field VI EBIIIA Tell el-Hesi’ by Kara Larson, James W. Hardin, and Sara Cody, PEQ volume 152, number 4). It shows how the authors came to an incorrect conclusion through the inappropriate application of an established method of analysis.
