Abstract

Major articles published from 1961 through 1975 were surveyed to determine their institutional origins. Contributors were widely dispersed geographically, and most of the authors were affiliated with colleges or universities. The leading and consistent contributors for the first 15 years of publication were Duke University, the Veterans Administration, the University of Chicago, and the University of California-Los Angeles. Other major contributors were the University of Southern California-Los Angeles, and the Philadelphia Geriatric Center.
