Abstract

The Engineering Research Center of the Colorado State University will sponsor an Institute on Unsteady Flow in Open Channels at the university in Fort Collins, June 17–28, 1974.The purpose of the institute is to present recent knowledge on unsteady flow in rigid and mobile‐bed, natural and man‐made open channels. Applications of this knowledge to practical engineering problems will be illustrated by presenting the available computational techniques and using them in solving one‐ and two‐dimensional unsteady flow problems.
