Abstract
We discuss the respective role of instantons and of vacuum expectation values of local operators in the structure of the Borel transform of CP 2 n-1 models and suggest an IR finite definition for the contribution of instantons. The structure of the operator product expansion, the renormalization of composite operators, the role of the θ parameter and the significance of semi-classical results are discussed from that point of view.
