Abstract
A theory of magnons has been constructed for the Edwards-Anderson spin-glass ground state. Instabilities are indicated by imaginary magnon energies. One potential instability is associated with the sign of the anisotropy energy and the other with the functional dependence of the spin-spin interactions.
