Abstract

With the enactment of Complementary Law n° 270/2019, the Municipality of Fortaleza regulated the natural and built environments of the city. This legislation also established the parameters for the regularization of properties that have been built or that are under construction and are in disagreement with the proposed norms. Among the rules for regularization is the issuance of a Building Regularization Certificate and to obtain it, the person responsible for the examination must verify compliance with the legal requirements on the safety of its constructive systems and installations through the inspection and technical analysis of the building, registered trademark in the Technical Inspection Report. This article aims to guide procedures aimed at the regularization of buildings, providing the engineering professional with the information necessary for the elaboration of a building inspection directed to processes of this nature.
