Abstract

Study of rotary table assembly machines shows that most of the malfunctions occur as a result of substandard parts included in the parts to be assembled. A control system has been developed which can detect substandard items and defective operations; the system can take corrective action so the next cycle is fault free, allowing productivity to increase.
