Abstract

In this paper, X fluorescence spectrometry was adopted.the metal elements are detected in the enclosures and supports of the electrical equipment in 66kV, 220kV and 550kV substations; The electrical equipment at run time of 3 to 15 years was detected respectively, Mainly include: transformer, circuit breaker, GIS, metal support, angle iron, iron tower and switch cabinet. The specific contents of the relevant metal elements of the electrical equipment were collected during 3 to 15years, and these data was coordinated, the change of the content of metal elements in electrical equipment and the trend of the change of metal content with the year are analyzed. The analysis results show that, the relationship between the metal content of electrical equipment and the year of operation is monotonically decreasing, and the electrical equipment that in door, the change of its metal content is obviously smaller than that of outdoor electrical equipment. The detection of metal elements in electrical equipment is also a lateral assessment of the operating conditions of the electrical equipment.
