Abstract

In this paper, spherical silica was prepared with tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) as the silicon source and cetylpyridine bromide (CPB) as the template, the time and temperature of microwave digestion and the influence of urea content in the solution on the shape and particle size of silica were discussed, and the silica was characterized by XRD and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results show that with the increase of microwave digestion temperature, the size of silica changes from small to large and larger, with the largest size at 120 °C, the size of silica increases with the increase of urea content.
