Abstract
Theranostics is a breakthrough paradigm of personalized and precision medicine for treatment of visual disorders. In this work, accuracy and precision of this therapeutic approach for achieving predictable strengthening of corneal tissue biomechanics were assessed on eye bank human donor tissues. Theranostic UV‐A light mediated imaging and photo‐activation of the tissues enriched with riboflavin demonstrated highly precise and predictable real time assessment of treatment efficacy on individual corneas.Further details can be found in the article by Giuseppe Lombardo, Giuseppe Massimo Bernava, Sebastiano Serrao, and Marco Lombardo (e202200218). image
