Abstract

Cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs) have been captured inside a zinc-containing microporous organic polymer (MOP) network through sacrificial templating with zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF-8) crystals. In their Research Article (e202300960), Mark MacLachlan et al. report the synthesis of novel [email protected] hybrid materials with a ship-in-a-bottle structure, and demonstrate their use as heterogeneous catalysts for CO2 conversion.
