Abstract

Supramolecular A8Bn miktoarm star copolymers were fabricated by host–guest complexation between a cavitand-based coordination capsule possessing eight polystyrene arms and biphenyl guest molecules with one, two, or four polymethyl acrylate arms, as reported by Takeharu Haino and co-workers in their Research Article (e202219001). The stability of the A8B1, A8B2, and A8B4 miktoarm star polymers is influenced by the number of polymethyl acrylate arms of the guest polymers.
