Abstract

A new class of supramolecules could open a new frontier in science through creation of unexplored quasi-sub-nanomaterials, which are considered as both continuous systems and molecular systems. In their Communication (e202114353), Kimihisa Yamamoto and co-workers developed a new synthetic method using huge dendritic supramolecular capsules constructed only by self-assembly based on coordination chemistry and polymer chemistry, and successfully demonstrate the first-ever precise synthesis of quasi-sub-nanomaterials.
