Abstract

The inside cover picture shows an amphiphilic BODPY–porphyrin conjugate BZnPP, a new PDT agent, together with its tumour cell uptake and significant two-photon-induced tumour cell imaging and cytotoxicity. BZnPP consists of a hydrophobic BODIPY moiety and a hydrophilic tetra(ethylene glycol) chain bridging a cationic triphenylphosphonium group linked to an amphiphilic porphyrin matrix ZnP through acetylide linkers at its meso positions.
