Abstract
A flexible solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) layer provides a promising modification for lithium metal anodes. In their Communication on page 1505 ff., R. Wen, Y.-G. Guo et al. show that the flexible LiPAA SEI layer can address the issue of dynamic Li plating/stripping by so called self-adapting interface regulation, which decreases dendrite growth and improves the safety performance of the Li metal anode.
