Abstract
AbstractBecause I had trained myself to fill every possible spare minute writing at my desk after my normal working hours as a school principal, when I retired I just went on busily writing books in the daytime rather than late at night, taking a small part in the organization of Australian writers, and travelling regularly overseas to China, and, if anything, was far more relaxed although perhaps less productive than before. My simple aim, I thought, was to complete as many of the unfinished works on my shelves as possible, including several concerning aspects of folklore.
