Abstract

This paper presents two nonlinear controllers schemes for DC bus voltage regulation of self excited induction generator operating in vector control conditions; the input-output feedback linearization and the sliding mode approaches. Each technique has two loops: an inner loop controlling the rotor flux and an outer loop controlling the DC bus voltage. The nonlinear methods provides an excellent control performances and can perfectly track the rotor flux and DC bus voltage reference values in spite of induction generator parameters variations. The presented system can be directly explored for wind power generation purposes. Simulation results are curried out to validate the feasibility of the proposed approaches.
