Abstract

A large volume radiation detectors used a semi-insulating Indium Phosphide (InP) wafer for a measurement of pp/7 Be solar neutrinos have been developed in last a few years. The volume has achieved to 20mm3, and this is world largest size among the detector observed gammas in a few hundred keV region. We measured actual backgrounds from 115In beta decay, and also effects of a radiative Bremsstrahlung from betas. No significant event was found and the radiation from InP wafer could be negligible.
