Abstract

Barley was inoculated in the seed bed with a mixture ofGlomus mosseae, G. fasciculatus andGigaspora margarita or with the indigenous mycorrhizal fungi and grown in 1.0m2 field plots. The introduced fungi stimulated seed yield by 27% and seed phosphorus content by 35%. A precrop with Kale had no significant effect on responses to inoculation.
