Abstract

The present paper introduces a novel approach to modern waste management by integrating technology with waste disposal systems. In response to the need for more engaging and efficient waste disposal methods, we propose an interactive smart dustbin. This dustbin, enhanced with robotic features and advanced sensors, aims to revolutionize how individuals perceive and participate in waste management practices. The design, implementation, and potential applications of the interactive smart dustbin are presented herein, with a focus on its potential to promote responsible waste disposal habits across diverse settings. Additionally, the integration of solar power as an alternative energy source is explored to enhance the system's sustainability.
