Abstract
The article provides a rationale for the necessity and expediency of introducing innovations in the process of teaching vocational disciplines based on the principles of an innovative economy. The paper considers the innovative educational technologies that are the most acceptable for professionally oriented disciplines: solution of situational tasks, analysis of specific situations (cases), search method of problem learning, business games, role plays, project technologies, and students» research work.
