Abstract

A national emergency in children’s mental health was called by AACAP alongside other national organizations, prompting a clear need for child and adolescent psychiatrists and other mental health providers to equip themselves with more than just clinical skills and also prepare for additional community leadership needs. The purpose of this presentation is to highlight the effectiveness of 4 successful community-academic partnerships that have involved youth voices in their implementation to expand clinical expertise to reach a larger community.
