AbstractMost of the current music teaching in Chinese colleges and universities is in single subject teaching, and is derailed from innovative practice. This must require college music education subjects to carry out correct subject-oriented guidance, boldly innovate and try diversified subject teaching, and reasonably adjust the teaching goals of music singing major. Improve the definition of subjects, rationally integrate the teaching platform, and finally realize the resource sharing of “teaching” and “learning”. The current music education in ordinary universities lacks the support of a systematic music education system, and there are problems and phenomena such as unstandardized music teaching materials, weak music teachers, and insufficient teaching equipment. The reasons for this are analyzed. This article is based on the era of 5G smart media and uses music education. Supported by theory, through visits and investigations to four ordinary colleges in S area, based on the situation and current situation of music education in the four ordinary colleges in S area, analyze, summarize and reflect on it, breaking the traditional music knowledge and music skills The teaching-oriented talent training concept, based on smart media, takes advantage of the huge room for improvement, applies it in the reform of music teaching, and puts forward the establishment of a scientific concept of music education, which promotes its own teaching innovation and reform.
