Abstract
We consider a charged black hole irradiated by a charged null fluid with negative energy density. As a consequence of this influx, the black hole's mass and charge shrink to zero after some finite retarded time. This model was previously proposed as a toy model for an evaporating charged black hole. Here we modify the model by changing one of the assumptions made concerning the orbits of the null fluid. This leads to a very different internal structure of the black hole.
