Abstract

The dark period of the Sangam (AC 300–600) was the era of the emergence of charity books. They realized that ethics and restrictions are necessary for a human being to live as a human being. Tamils have taught moral principles to the world. Human life is a mixture of pleasure and pain. For a happy life, it is enough to avoid the activities that cause pain. Just as a sick person needs medicine, so does an uncharitable person need medicine in the form of endowments. It is excellent to list the deplorable acts against humanity. Our forefathers have worked with the aim that future generations should also have the intelligence to know and act on actions that always have adverse consequences. If morality is to prevail in society, it is necessary to follow the virtues of life. The moral texts were composed with the aim of emphasizing virtues. Thus, the purpose of this article is to convey the philosophy of life and the sweet messages of Inna Narpathu, which symbolize what is not moral.
