Abstract

Quantum dots (QDs) have been widely applied in the fields of display, lighting and bioimaging due to their excellent optical properties, such as adjustable luminous color, high fluorescence efficiency and good color purity. Recently, inkjet printing of light emitting QDs has driven important advances in anti-counterfeiting technology. Here, we prepared a water-dispersible QDs inks and obtained a fluorescent pattern with high printing accuracy via inkjet printing. The coffee ring effect was avoided effectively by introducing a high boiling point ethylene glycol solvent in printing.
