Abstract

Durch Fusion von Mikroplasmodien des SchleimpilzesPhysarum polycephalum wird der Mitosecyclus ihrer Kerne synchronisiert. Durch kunstlich verzogerte Fusion konnen Tochterkerne einer soeben erfolgten Mitose zur Teilnahme an der ersten synchronen Mitose nach der Fusion gezwungen werden, bevor die morphologische Rekonstitution und die Duplikation ihrer DNS vollendet sind.
