Abstract
The article analyzes the problems of claims for the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of a group of persons in the civil law process. The issues of the competent court, the status of persons who have the right to file a claim in defense of the rights and legitimate interests of a group of persons, and the procedural plaintiff are considered. The author makes proposals aimed at improving the legal regulation of issues related to the transfer of cases to the arbitration court and the pre-trial procedure for the settlement of disputes in this category of cases.
