Abstract

Analysis of the influence of multiple soft collisions and the energy loss of quark effects on Drell-Yan (DY) production in proton-nucleus collisions is studied. The inclusive differential cross sections analysis was carried out using HIJING Monte-Carlo event generator, which has been modified to take into account the effects mentioned above. Calculation of the ratio <i>&sigma;<sub>w</sub>/&sigma;<sub>Be</sub></i> of inclusive differential cross sections for lepton pair production in <i>pW</i> and <i>pBe</i> reactions versus transverse momentum <i>p<sub>T</sub></i> and longitudinal momentum fraction <i>x<sub>1</sub></i> of produced lepton pair is done.
