Abstract

This work is a continuation of our investigation into the properties of an electrical discharge in a condensed medium (water). The current characteristic of the discharge is determined. The initial phase of the discharge is found to consist of two stages. Comparison between the parameters of the discharge plasma in water and gas is made. The cost of H2O molecule ionization is estimated. Experimental results are compared with published data.
