Abstract
Introduction: Conventional white-light colonoscopy (WLC) is currently the gold standard for detection and treatment of colorectal lesions. The Fujinon intelligent color enhancement system (FICE) is a real-time, on-demand endoscopic multi-band imaging technique designed to enhance visualization of vascular network and surface texture of the mucosa. There is few information available about the optimal selection among the ten factory-determined wavelength-enhanced presets of FICE for detection of colorectal lesions. The aim was to overview our initial observations.
