Abstract
Inhibition mechanism of rat cerebral cortex cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases (PDE) by reticulol was investigated. The inhibition of PDE by reticulol was not reduced in the presence of excess PDE activating factor (PAF) or/and Ca2+ ion. Reticulol showed lower Ki values for Ca2+-PAF dependent PDE than for Ca2+ independent PDE.
